Welcome!
This
is the website for Chapter 266 of the Experimental
Aircraft Association (EAA) in Montreal, Quebec, an organization
devoted to the interests of recreational aviators and aircraft homebuilders.
Our
chapter was founded in 1963 and has about 75 members, giving us
an excellent base of experience and knowledge.
Take
a look through these pages, and feel free to contact us if you have
questions. If you live in the Montreal region - or if you're in
town visiting - drop by one of our meetings. You don't need to be
a pilot and you don't need to be building an airplane; you just
need a passion for aviation.
OSHKOSH TRIP PLANNING
Some of our members have indicated they would like to share the
drive or flight to Oshkosh this year. Your webmaster has been collecting
names and will share the list so you can arrange and plan the trip.
Send me an email or call
me at 514-825-8585 if you would like to be the driver/pilot or would
like to go along with and support someone who is...

GROUP
PROJECT
At our March 27, 2008 Chapter meeting, we discussed
a possible "Group Aircraft Project". You can see the PowerPoint
slides used to present the idea. (once the presentation is open
in Acrobat, right click on the first slide and select "rotate
clockwise".)
We
have a few new entries in our library,
definitely worth a look!

Part 1: "Propellers - The First and Final Explanation book is
described as "The professional, incisive, understandable, logic
of propellers. The explanation that has been so badly needed,
by aeronautical engineers, propeller designers, pilots -- the
users. This should have been available, at least half a century
ago! The longest, most fundamental hole in aerodynamics!"
