Ross
Holden, our Membership Director, flies an RV-4 while he is building
an RV-7A.
On March 20, 2004, Ross received the tail kit for his RV-7A. The
RV-7A is a newer member of a highly successful series of aircraft
from Van's Aircraft (see www.vansaircraft.com).
With a top speed of over 200 mph solo, the RV-7A is fast enough
for Ross, yet the stall speed is only 58 mph at gross weight. Also
a plus is the suitability of the RV-7A for basic aerobatics. Here
is a shot of Ross with his new project.
:
This is what Ross hopes to have flying in 2.5 years
from now.
